Calendar App provides calendar and reminder management features for iPhone users. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
Information we access
- Google account email address, when required to show the connected account.
- Google Calendar data, including calendar lists, event details, and related metadata needed for scheduling features.
- Google Tasks data, including task lists, task titles, due dates, notes, and completion status.
- Local calendar data from iOS EventKit if the user grants calendar permission on the device.
How information is used
- To sign the user in to their own Google account.
- To display calendars, events, and tasks inside the app.
- To create, update, complete, or delete events and tasks when requested by the user.
- To maintain sync state and provide calendar functionality.
Data sharing
Calendar App does not sell Google user data. Google user data is not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the requested Google Calendar or Google Tasks functionality through Google's APIs.
Data storage
Authentication information and app state may be stored locally on the user's device to keep the user signed in and preserve preferences. Calendar and task data is used only for app functionality requested by the user.
User choices
- Users can disconnect their Google account from within the app.
- Users can revoke the app's access from their Google account permissions settings.
- Users can remove the app from their device at any time.
